The global pandemic has affected daily routines around the world. As people stay home, the lack of demand has led to a market oversupply and falling oil prices. With the energy industry going through a period of drastic change, you’re likely taking a closer look at your compensation and rewards strategy.
Use the compensation data within Mercer’s Global Drilling Survey to be sure you’re paying what you need to, for success both now and in the future. Leverage this redesigned survey using the information for core drilling positions representing both land and offshore populations. This year the data is being collected using our online tool for local salary scales, rather than individual incumbent data, and includes:
Participation open: Oct – Nov
Results publish: Nov/Dec
2019 results available
Based on data from the 2019 Global Drilling Survey. Data minimum and suppression rules account for the difference between the number of positions surveyed and published.
North and South America
Asia Pacific and Oceania
Africa, Middle East and CIS
Survey results are delivered in a published PDF format to your imercer.com account under My Downloads.
This survey is participant only, but a “Promise to Participate” option may be available. Contact us at 800-333-3070 to learn more.
2020 survey participation is now closed. Drilling companies that can match to the key survey positions can request to participate and must be approved by the GDS Steering Committee. Furthermore, organizations must be a drilling company and not an E&P contractor. The act of submitting data to a survey is known as survey participation and your company is then viewed as a participant. To learn more about how you can become a participant, please contact us. As a survey participant, you do receive key benefits:
A compensation survey for the global energy trading industry.
Salary data for mining organizations - corporate & site location jobs available.
Local working and benefits requirements around the world.
