Formerly the North America Hotel Industry Compensation Survey, it has been split into separate US and Canada surveys to better reflect the regional trends, positions, and participating organizations included. For the US Hotel Industry survey data, please click here.

Hotel organizations are invited to participate in this survey, pending review and approval of a membership application by the survey Steering Committee. Membership type is based upon organization size and ability to report data to the extent which the survey requires.

Survey results are delivered in a published excel format to your account under My Downloads.

2021 survey participation

2021 survey participation is now open!

Survey participation is open to all organizations with matching jobs and is required to purchase results. Membership application is no longer required for Canadian hotel organizations to participate in the Canada Hotel Industry Compensation Survey. The act of submitting data to a survey is known as survey participation and your company is then viewed as a participant.

Non-Participant report only includes property level jobs for the US. The non-participant report does not include Canadian, area/region, or corporate level data.

Organizations must qualify to participate. Participant pricing varies based on number of properties, number of incumbents, and type of organization (full or focused). If your organization qualifies, you can purchase the survey one time only as a non-participant and must agree to participate in the following year.

Organizations not meeting the survey participation criteria can purchase the survey at the non-participant price.
