  • While for more than a third of respondents, improving compliance activities was the number 1 or 2 priority for 2019 on a scale from 1 to 10, for close to 60%, enhancing assignee experience was among the top 4 priorities, aligned with the findings from Mercer 2019 Talent trends survey.

  • More than half of participants disagreed with the statement that the Global Mobility function is well—integrated with the overall talent management strategy and processes
  • Fewer than four in ten participants rated their organization’s ability to change  as 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is poor and 5 very good.
  • More than 40% of respondents rated costs, metrics reporting but also mastering compliance issues as very important competence Global Mobility managers will be requiring
  • A majority of participants evaluated the level of organization’s digitization as poor or restricted. But more than half reported that they are rather keen to use the latest technology.
