14005 - Field Auditor

Responsible for traveling to stores to review store operating documents to verify compliance to policies and procedures, especially concerning shrinkage. Will assist Loss Prevention Managers in case investigations but typically does not personally engage in interviewing theft suspects. May be responsible for counting merchandise and adjusting inventory levels. May also verify that company funds are accounted for and that units are complying with company policy in the area of money handling and security. Typically reports to Finance/Accounting or Loss Prevention but must be familiar with the requirements for both.
