Facilitator:

Christa Zihlmann
Christa is the Nordic, Benelux & Emerging Markets Global Mobility Leader in Mercer's information product solutions (IPS) business. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Christa works closely with other Mercer Practices to collaborate on a range of expatriation issues. She regularly organises client seminars and training courses on International Assignment practices in various countries across the region. Christa's recent client projects have included a study on Hardship locations, a benchmarking study on repatriation, a study on Expatriate allowances , benchmarking project s on different regional policies various total assignment cost analysis.

Before joining Mercer in 2001, she worked as intercultural trainer in France for three years. Prior to this she worked for five years at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva as coordinator for public information and various migration programs for Vietnam, Afghanistan and Cambodia. Born and raised in Austria, Christa has lived in several countries and cultures and has developed a passion for expatriation issues.

Christa graduated in Geography from the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck, Austria with a thesis on Liechtenstein. She is fluent in German, English and French and has a good command of Italian.

Ulrico Lucchi
Ulrico is the Head of EMEA Global Mobility Center of Excellence for Mercer's IPS practice. Ulrico, born in 1955, studied law in Milan with a specialisation in International and European law.

He started working in the reinsurance business and then joined Business International 1984, where he specialised in human resources activities.

In 1990, he was among the founding members of Corporate Resources Group, which was acquired by Mercer in 1999.

Ulrico is a European partner in Mercer's Geneva office and is the EMEA Mobility Leader for IPS EMEA region.

Today, he leads the teams in this zone and he is responsible for the business development of this region on Mobility practice. Ulrico has long experience in all aspects of compensation and expatriate management consulting and has been involved in consulting activities through several projects all over Europe. In his previous position, Ulrico has developed the German market to be number one in the expatriate field.

He is bilingual Italian and German, and also fluent in English and French.
