On behalf of MEDEC, the national association created by and for the Canadian medical technology industry, Mercer annually conducts the Medical Device Technology Compensation Survey. The survey collects and reports results on total cash and direct compensation, short- and long-term incentives, and includes targets and payouts for sales positions.

The survey offer designed for MEDEC members gives participants access to industry specific and general industry benchmark data. Survey participants receive access to data on 13 core positions exclusive to the medical device industry. In addition, participants have the option to select data from the Mercer Executive, Management, and Professional Survey (EMP) or the Mercer Benchmark Database (MBD) which provides an additional 11 core positions and hundreds of general industry positions.

Plus, participants in both the Medical Device Technology Compensation Survey and the bi-annual Canada Compensation Policies and Practices Report receive the biannual report FREE. The policies and practices report provides national, regional, and industry specific information on flexible work arrangements, vacation time, maternity benefits, overtime, turnover, and much more.
