Brought to you by Mercer and the Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association (OMHRA) – the Ontario Municipal Compensation Survey will equip you with the insights you need to design competitive compensation packages that attract and retain the right people. The survey consists of 218 benchmark jobs for municipalities across Ontario including positions in functions such as long-term care (LTC), public health, social services, planning, economic development, emergency services and public works.
In addition to compensation data, participants will also be able to access information on pay policies and practices such as job rate adjustments, performance pay, attraction and retention, hours of work, overtime, vacation entitlement, automobile benefits and much more. This mix of credible and current compensation and policy data will give you a better understanding of and support for your human resources programs.
Special for small municipalities! Mercer also offers a Small Municipalities Report, which includes data for 32 of the 218 survey positions, in addition to the full HR policy report. This report is ideal for smaller municipalities that employ fewer staff but still need a source for credible pay data.
