The database is comprised of four modules - subsets of the data targeted for specific applicability. They are:
Fortune 500® Organizations - Members of the Fortune 500®, plus publicly traded organizations of similar size
Public Midsize and Small Organizations - Publicly traded organizations not meeting the size criteria for inclusion in the Fortune 500® module
Privately Held Organizations - includes organizations classified as Joint Ventures
Not-For-Profit Organizations - includes organizations classified as State-owned Enterprise
