The Engineering and Design Compensation Survey covers over 140 positions in chemical, construction, design, electrical, industrial, process, and plant engineering across all industries. From entry level to lead, the various career levels are surveyed across each engineering specialty. In addition, engineering management roles and various design roles are included.

To help you keep up with this fast-paced sector, Mercer has added 2 new position families in 2010: Civil engineers, and technologists. Understanding the pay differentials between engineering specialties is critical to attract and retain key talent.

As a participant in the Mercer Benchmark Database, you will receive MarketPulse reports from May through July, prior to the full release of the survey results. These reports provide you with early indicators of market movement in Canada and a glimpse into emerging trends in the data. In addition, participants are invited to an informative webinar (MBDspan) in September that highlights the key trends and analysis from the 2010 Mercer Benchmark Database
