The Mercer Benchmark Database (MBD) is the most comprehensive source of functional benchmark compensation data across all industries in Canada. Your people are your #1 asset and these are unprecedented times in which to manage the economics of a payroll. Determining competitive pay levels for your talent requires a careful alignment between market demand and your pay program – considering all elements of compensation including base pay, incentives, other allowances and long-term incentives. Leading organizations rely on Mercer to help them analyze and quantify the art and the science of market pricing.
When you participate in MBD, you experience the flexibility of choice. Focus only on the functions you most need by purchasing individual modules, or experience the full depth of MBD as a subscriber to the entire database.
With over 950 positions, MBD is one of the largest general industry databases available in Canada. MBD allows you to compare your organization’s data to actual market data and make informed decisions.
As a participant in the Mercer Benchmark Database, you will receive MarketPulse reports from May through July, prior to the full release of the survey results. These reports provide you with early indicators of market movement in Canada and a glimpse into emerging trends in the data. In addition, participants are invited to an informative webinar (MBDspan) in September that highlights the key trends and analysis from the 2010 Mercer Benchmark Database.
