This survey covers remuneration practices, salary and benefits information for the Local Government sector within New Zealand. Published bi-annually in April and October.
The report allows councils to gain a more complete picture of remuneration in the local government sector and is a must for all local government organisations in New Zealand. This report includes salary and benefits information from New Zealand's local councils and employment information of particular relevance to local government.
The Local Government Remuneration Report covers a Commentary section, and two Market Data sections, for Executive and Non-Executive roles.
Commentary Section: This volume presents the survey’s highlights and policy trends, as well as guidelines on using the market data effectively.
Executive Remuneration Section: Presents detailed remuneration data for chief executive and senior management positions, and will enable you to arrive at effective market-based remuneration levels for the executive positions in your Council.
Staff Remuneration Section: Provides a comprehensive overview of the remuneration market for general staff at middle management level and below.
