Top position responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all phases of the design operation for the organization including creating design concepts, product samples, and communication with vendors. Develops and implements functional strategy with regards to corporate goals and establishes organizational policies and programs. Typically reports to a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Top Division/Group/Subsidiary Executive.
