UK Expatriate Forum
The UK Expatriate Forum is a member's only forum for human resources practitioners responsible for international policy development in a wide variety of major international industries and services with a headquarter or regional headquarters in the UK.
|
About the meetings
The forum takes place three times a year, allowing the group to compare and contrast worldwide policies, practices and trends in expatriate management. Guest speakers and Mercer staff highlight and exchange views on current issues. Discussions are practical, results-oriented and completely confidential.
Members focus on remuneration and benefits, general terms and conditions, legislative developments in specific countries, as well as political, economic, and social developments in countries worldwide.
Other benefits
Between meetings, members enjoy both structured and casual networking, including peer-to-peer guidance, research and surveys relevant to individual members' needs and through a members-only website. The goal of these activities is to maintain an effective and motivated transnational workforce.
Members have the opportunity to learn about current practices, meet peers with similar responsibilities and interests, discover up-to-date information on critical issues, and gain access to resources formal and informal for assistance with current challenges.
Who should join?
Mobility Managers of major companies with principal or regional headquarters in the United Kingdom.
