Middle East HR Forum

The Middle East Human Resources Forum began in 2007, focusing predominantly on the UAE. However, the content has been adapted to cover the Middle East region as a whole. The forum was established to provide a confidential and informal environment in which local, regional and international companies with significant Middle Eastern operations can discuss current issues on the whole spectrum of HR. However, based on feedback collected from members and guests there are planned changes in 2012 to improve the forum. .

About the meetings

Members of the forum meet at least three times a year in the UAE to compare and review policies and practices, as well as trends and developments in the broad field of HR management in the region. The first and the last meeting of the year focuses on general HR topics while the summer meeting focusing on Global Mobility. The forum provides:

  • a confidential and practical workshop environment in which companies can exchange information and experiences on local, regional, and global HR issues affecting the region
  • an opportunity to investigate, appraise, and analyse new developments and approaches in the field of HR to assist companies to manage their activities
  • current and authoritative information from noted guest speakers on specific issues within the field
  • an opportunity to network with peers in a confidential setting
