Module 1 — Job Evaluation

  • A simple central recording management system for Mercer’s CED Job Evaluation data.

  • Automated quality checks eg: feasibility guideline checks, systems checks and hierarchy checks.

  • On-line Help with job evaluations in the form of the Mercer’s CED Job Evaluation Manual which is ‘hot-linked’ to the various JE factors.

  • A job evaluation calculator which automatically calculates JE points following entry of the sub factors or selection from a drop-down menu and allocates job grades according to your organisation’s grading system.

  • Assistance in the modelling of grade structures.

Module 2 — Remuneration Comparison

Module 2 includes the features in Module 1, plus:

  • Allows you to store your remuneration details and calculate Total Employment Cost (including FBT).

  • Contains the built in Mercer car formula, or it can be customised to your organisation’s specifications.

  • Stores and prints Mercer’s market data (ranges and mid-points) in your grade structure format.

  • Market data is upgraded every 6 months with the latest market pay lines applicable to your industry/job family.

  • Market data is accessed instantly, allowing comparisons to be made efficiently while identifying anomalies and inequities in your current remuneration practice.
