RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is an easy way for sites to automatically updated you when new content is published. RSS puts you in control of the information you want delivered to your desktop. You can subscribe to RSS feeds from multiple websites. Scan through the latest headlines in one place, and directly access content of interest with a single click.
How can I subscribe?
Get a feed reader. Just do a web search for "rss feed readers" and you will have several choices.
How can I sign up for an RSS feed from Mercer?
Once your news reader is installed, follow these steps:
- Select a Mercer feed from the box on the right.
- Copy the URL that appears in the address bar.
- Follow the instructions from your reader program to add this XML feed to your RSS list.
How do I use RSS?
The following options allow you to take advantage of RSS feeds:
- separate desktop application
- integrate with MS Outlook
- integrate with Instant Messaging
